Network Technology

One of the aspects that makes the A72 and A52 different is the network technology. Although the A52 comes with 4G and 5G network variant, the A72 unfortunately only comes with 4G network. As of now, Samsung has not announced anything about 5G variant of A72 therefore we cannot confirm anything about the possibility of A72 5G in the future.

The Audio quality of A52 and A72 are undoubtedly extraordinary. Featuring stereo speaker, either A52 and A72 will bring you an immersive audio experience while you're playing games, watching your favorite shows, and even listening to your music playlist. IP Ratings

Both Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72 came with IP67 rating which means that both phones are dustproof and able to withstand water immersion for up to 30 minutes within depth of 1 meter (3 feet). This should make the phone safe while you're using it around dust-heavy area and survive raindrops, water splashes even spills of water. While it is safe around fresh water areas such as bathrooms or kitchen sink, you should instead be careful around oceans and swimming pools as the phone could be less resistant to salt water and chlorine water.

SIM Card Tray

The A52 and A72 both uses Hybrid SIM card slot which means that you could only either use 1 SIM card & 1 SD card or 2 SIM card simultaneously. Samsung's decision to use Hybrid slot for these phones is reasonable considering its massive storage. However, you could still always use an SD card with a size up to 1TB with an exchange of 1 SIM card slot.

The extensive sensors that are also present would be sufficient for most occasions and its under display fingerprint sensor would make your experience of unlocking phone feels sophisticated and seamless.

Although both Samsung Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72 share many things in common, the A72 offers a slight upgrade to what A52 had already done well. The Samsung Galaxy A72 offers bigger screen, extended battery life, and additional telephoto camera that are going to worth the extra price you pay. However, you could cut the extra features and still get most of A72's key features with the Samsung Galaxy A52

In conclusion, the Samsung Galaxy A72 is going to worth more if you're willing to spend a few more bucks for a bigger screen, larger battery capacity, and an extra telephoto camera feature to play around with. Nevertheless, the Samsung Galaxy A52 is still a resonable choice and even going to worth more considering the amount of decent features it shares with the Galaxy A72 with a fairly lower price.
